The stretch along the Cairo–Alexandria desert road nearest the plateau trades on one thing, and it is not subtle: proximity. From the upper floors here the pyramids are not a day trip, they are the view out of the window.

It is a smaller, more commercial pocket than the compounds further west — the office park anchors it, and the residential stock is limited and rarely comes up. When it does, it moves quickly, because the supply of homes with a genuine, unobstructed pyramid sightline is fixed and will never grow.

Buy here for the view and the short run to the plateau. Do not buy here expecting compound amenities.
